On behalf of Maersk Line in Rotterdam we are looking  for a (m/f) Capacity String Manager.
 
The position
Responsible for optimization and managing space allocation on Ocean Liner vessels from Northern European Ports. You are also responsible for initiating and proactively driving cost saving, revenue and utilization generating processes that add value to the Liner Operations under your control.

Maersk line Expects candidates with sense of urgency, initiative, ownership and competitive drive to get things done. A pro-active and positive mentality, enthusiasm, the ability to act and speak in an open, straightforward and constructive manner and can deal with a variety of different stakeholders. Working experience in the shipping industry, a degree in Transport and Logistics, the ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing, the ability to communicate in Dutch is an advantage.

The Northern European Liner Operations Cluster is responsible for maintaining vessel schedules, allocation management, monitoring port productivity of the terminals, negotiating contracts with terminals and other suppliers for over 70 ports located in Northern Europe.
